Lifeline - College & Young Adults Ministry

Lifeline - College & Young Adults Ministry is a Catholic ministry for young adults and students of private colleges in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. We belong to the Church of St. Francis Xavier, Petaling Jaya (Lifeline SFX) and its satellite church, Chapel Kurnia Kristus (now known as St Thomas More Church and went independent from 2009), Subang (Lifeline CKK).

Founded in 1991, Lifeline has grown from a group of 5 to 10 people, to an ever growing and maturing community of about 170 young people, with different sub-ministries and BEC Youth Groups (formerly known as cell groups).

Catholic Student Society (CSS)

As an extension of Lifeline (College and Young Adult Minsitry), CSS has a twofold purpose:

  1. To  connect Catholic students to the larger and local Catholic community, i.e. Church  of St. Francis Xavier, where they receive support, and are nourished by Word and Sacraments.
  2. To help Catholic students to know the person of Christ our Lord and the Mission which He has called them to, through the deepening of their faith and a better understanding of the teachings of the Church.

What We Do

We provide a community for students to be able to

  • attend mass together
  • meet up on a weekly basis to worship, fellowship, learn about Christ & His Church.

(CSS meetings are held every Saturday, 3pm, at the SFX Church ‘GYM’ – Gonzaga Youth Ministries). The CSS continuously invites students to the Church and joins in the Church’s and the youth ministry’s activities.
